Presenting for Action

A Three-Day Communication Skills Workshop

This workshop is for people who are willing to risk leaving their comfort zone to reach excellence. There will be no "rules of presenting" preached to impose a style on you-but you have to be willing to experience new sides of yourself. We also won't waste your time with abstractions that don't apply to your real world situation. You'll be working on the actual presentations that you have to deliver when you leave the workshop. Practical? Yes. On the other hand, this will be one of the most entertaining, professional trainings that you will ever attend. You will laugh often, clap vigorously, and make a lot of noise!

Clarity

They say that we are living in the Information Age. What they don't tell you is that it can be a curse if you don't know how to organize data! From day-one in our workshop, you will learn a modular organization system that will cut your preparation time considerably. The system can be used for everything from complex team presentations to impromptu "chalk talks". Our clients tell us that this is the best system they've seen.

"Not only were our course evaluations outstanding, our entire operation has seen a 26.2 percent improvement in policies sold per person since implementing the training!"

Coaching

There are so many people who are willing to tell you in vague and general terms, what you are doing wrong. There are a few who can tell you the specific positives and negatives. We go beyond that. With video playback, we'll candidly show you the truth, then give you specific exercises that help you as an individual. We are as supportive as we are demanding.

Communication

The second day of the workshop is devoted to the art and science of getting through to another human being. You'll look at different styles of people and how they take in information. We'll also be looking at the strategies for hostile, neutral and accepting audiences. But most importantly, we'll have you examine your personal barriers to communication.

Creativity

Aren't there enough boring business presentations in this world? With us, you will get to practice the appropriate ways to put some pizzazz in your presentations. Not for frivolous reasons, but because without it, your ideas don't stand much of a chance of rising above the noise. You'll experiment with visuals, props, audience participation, games, cartoons etc. If you use a laptop as a presentation tool-bring it!
